As a member of the Operations Finance organization, you will drive key initiatives to improve the quality and timeliness of insights provided to business leadership, assisting them in understanding financial and product cost performance, develop tools to enable proactive financial management, and provide insights to enable critical business decisions. In this role, you will apply fundamentals of project management, leading and ensuring successful execution of initiatives which will help our business progress and meet their goals. We are seeking a storyteller, who can clearly articulate complex concepts and translate numeric financial results into meaningful programmatic and operational performance narratives. The individual should possess excellent financial acumen and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You will be working day to day using Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting, OneStream (Blue Origin's Financial Planning tool) and Costpoint (Accounting system). This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.Passion for our mission and vision is required!This role is available on-site in Kent, Washington with relocation provided.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist with creation of models for financial reviews, cost benefit analysis, and metricsBe the financial site focal for multi-site factoriesConduct indirect cost management and analysisSupport headcount and cost center planningParticipate in factory improvement projects to drive labor inefficienciesProvide actionable insights into factory financial performance and drive actions to closureManage end of month business rhythm and deliverablesData mining across multiple data sets; Databricks; Redshift; SQLPrepare and consolidate monthly/quarterly financial and metric report outs for Operations and Finance LeadershipIdentify operational and financial risk & opportunities with potential solutions; assist with recovery plan developmentAnalyze and report financial performance variances of actuals to budget and forecastSupport key business analytics and key performance indicator generationMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other highly analytical field8+ years of financial and business analytics experienceDemonstrated ability to work independently and as a self-motivator.Ability to develop pricing models based on multiple inputs including market conditions, competition, and other constraintsStrong analytical skill set and high attention to detailExcellent written communication and presentation skillsAdvanced level skills in Microsoft Excel Power Query, Power PivotExperience in helping business leaders meet financial targets and deliver resultsUnderstanding of underlying business processes and the impact of financial decisionsStrong skills in running meetings and preparing executive-level presentationsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylumPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SQL, Python, GenAIExperience with OneStreamExperience with TableauExperience with Microsoft D365Experience working in a Manufacturing environmentExperience with MRP systemsBase Pay Range for:WA applicants is $124,476.00 - $174,265.35Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
