Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physician
Locations: Brooklyn, NY & Manhattan, NY (2 Openings — One Per Location)
Pay Rate: $150–$175/hour
Employment Type: Contract (120-Day Term, Option to Renew or Convert to Permanent)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: November 2026 (ideal)
About the Opportunity
A healthcare organization is seeking Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to fill 2 open positions — one in Brooklyn, NY and one in Manhattan, NY — on a 120-day contract assignment, with the option to renew or convert to a permanent position. Ideal candidates are available for a November 2026 start date and bring hands-on experience with the Epic EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct outpatient primary care to adult patients
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Accurately document patient encounters and treatment plans using Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active New York State medical license required
- Active New York State DEA registration required
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active NYS Medicaid participation required
- Prior experience using Epic EMR required
Schedule Details
- Monday – Friday, 5 days/week
- Shift options: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assignment length: 120 days, with option to renew or convert to permanent
- Ideal start date: November 2026
