For more information, please visit fluenceenergy.com.Job Description:Position SummaryThe Senior Director, Global Human Resources Business Partner is a senior HR leader who advises executives and leadership teams on people strategies that drive business performance, workforce readiness, organizational effectiveness, and culture across a complex, multi-country organization.This role combines strategic counsel with hands-on execution, translating business priorities into workforce, talent, organization design, engagement, and change solutions in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Legal, Finance, and global HR teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise executives and senior leaders on workforce strategy, organization effectiveness, leadership capability, culture, engagement, and talent outcomes.Translate business and growth priorities into multi-year people plans that support execution, scalability, and organizational maturity across global and local teams.Lead workforce planning, organization design, operating model evolution, restructuring, and transformation initiatives that improve capacity, accountability, productivity, and performance.Use workforce analytics, business data, employee insights, manager feedback, and HR service trends to identify risks, opportunities, and practical solutions.Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership pipeline, retention, and development efforts, with emphasis on critical roles and strategic capabilities.Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, manager capability, team performance, change leadership, and complex people decisions.Manage complex employee relations, policy application, and people-related risk in partnership with Legal, Compliance, HR Operations, and global HR teams.Orchestrate HR Centers of Excellence and HR Operations to deliver integrated talent, rewards, acquisition, operations, and employee experience solutions at scale.Strengthen HRBP practices, tools, governance, and operating rhythms while championing company culture, values, inclusion, agility, and accountability.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HRBP leadership supporting executives in complex business organizations.Experience operating at Senior Director or equivalent scope in a global, matrixed, operationally complex environment.Deep expertise in workforce planning, organization design, talent management, succession planning, leadership development, employee relations, policy application, and change management.Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to financial performance, execution priorities, productivity, and organizational outcomes.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, coach leaders, navigate ambiguity, and align teams across functions, regions, and cultures.Experience managing people-related risk across multiple countries in partnership with HR, Legal, and business leaders.Excellent executive communication, facilitation, judgment, discretion, problem-solving, and decision-framing skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree, MBA, or related advanced degree.SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification.Experience in global technology, energy, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, product, or other operationally complex industries.Our CultureAt Fluence, our culture is the foundation that drives our ambitious growth strategy and fuels our mission to transform the future of energy.
