SR. BUYER (TECHNICAL BUYER)Our client is a leader in aerospace manufacturing with operations in League City Area. They are seeking a SR. BUYER to join their team for a 12-month project.This role is located in League City, TX and requires on-site attendance. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. This position has a pay rate of $45/hr+, dependent on experience.*This role does require MINIMUM 6 years of true BUYER/PROCUREMENT experience in manufacturing. Aerospace a PLUS.*The Expectations:Manage the full procurement lifecycle for complex materials, equipment, services, and subcontracts from planning through closeoutDevelop and administer RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, purchase orders, and subcontracts in compliance with company policies and regulationsConduct price and cost analysis, market research, and benchmarking to ensure fair and competitive pricingNegotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and performance requirements with suppliers and subcontractorsMonitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, invoices, and issue resolution throughout contract executionProcess purchase order changes, amendments, and subcontract modifications accurately and on timeCoordinate subcontract closeout activities including invoice reconciliation, deliverable acceptance, and documentationEnsure supplier compliance, NDA verification, Approved Supplier List validation, and adherence to procurement ethics standardsCollaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Quality, and other stakeholders to support program objectives and schedulesProvide procurement guidance, training, and support to internal teams, requisitioners, and junior buyersThe Experience Needed:MINIMUM 6 years of TRUE buyer/procurement experience, REQUIREDProven experience in MANUFACTURING environment, REQUIREDPrevious aerospace-specific experience, HUGE PLUSNEXT STEPS:Click on Apply Now to be considered for this SR.
