Founding Marketing Lead

We're backed by Y Combinator (F26), live on the App Store, and growing. We're hiring a Founding Marketing Lead to work directly with the founder and own how people find us. That means deciding what to try, getting it live, and figuring out whether it worked. You should love making content and care about the business behind it. When a video takes off, you'll want to know why, whether those people became users, and how we can do it again at a larger scale. What you'll own Short-form video for TikTok and Reels, written, shot, and edited by you most days. Quippy's accounts, voice, and community. Being a face of the brand and bringing other creators into it. Distribution beyond our own accounts: creator programs, partnerships, communities, and ideas we haven't tried yet. Paid acquisition on TikTok, Meta, and Apple Search Ads, from creative through spend to payback. Turning organic winners into paid creative and bringing paid learnings back into the feed. AI and automation that help us produce, test, and learn faster. Following results through to activation, retention, and paying users. Stopping what isn't working. Who we're looking for You've built an audience or driven a growth result you can show us. You can explain what you personally did. You can take an ambitious goal and turn it into experiments we can run this week, without needing each task assigned. You have strong creative taste and can make the work yourself. You also know when to bring in tools or other people to expand what you can do. You've managed real acquisition spend and are comfortable with funnels, cohorts, CAC, and payback. You use AI in your work and keep looking for better ways to get things done. You finish things, raise blockers early, and are straightforward about what shipped and what didn't. You're willing to try an unconventional idea, defend your reasoning, and change your mind when the evidence changes. This is a hands-on founding role with a fast pace. You'll own strategy and execution, including the coordination that keeps everything moving. You'll help decide who Quippy is for and have room to build a team as we grow.
