In this role, you'll service fuel system equipment at gas stations, marinas, airports, and other facilities while helping clients maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. We're looking for someone who can work independently in the field, troubleshoot equipment confidently, and bring established petroleum industry knowledge to the team.What You'll DoComplete required training, including 40-hour HAZWOPERPerform compliance tests (spill bucket, vapor recovery, A/B Inspections, etc.)Troubleshoot and repair UST/AST equipmentSubmit reports and timecards using our digital systemCommunicate with clients and represent Tait professionallyWork independently and follow all safety protocolsRequired Experience & Qualifications2–4+ years of hands-on experience in petroleum equipment service, UST/AST systems, or a closely related petroleum industry roleDemonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing UST/AST equipmentCurrent or recent ICC UST/AST certification(s)Current or recent Veeder-Root installation, service, or related certificationWorking knowledge of petroleum equipment, compliance testing, and applicable industry regulationsExperience completing technical service reports and compliance documentationStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and manage field assignments with limited supervisionBasic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordYou'll Stand Out If You HaveMultiple ICC petroleum certificationsAdditional manufacturer or equipment certificationsExperience leading field projects or mentoring techniciansExperience reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, or service manualsStrong client communication and customer service skillsA proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving field issuesPhysical & Additional RequirementsComplete background check, MVR, drug test, and physicalValid driver's license & clean driving recordAble to climb ladders, kneel, lift heavy lids (with assistance), and work on uneven groundPhysically fit to travel and work in field conditionsSalary and Benefits Salary range for position: $24/hr. - $40/hr.BenefitsTait invests in you by providing a comprehensive compensation and benefits program along with the opportunity for professional growth and development.
