Description Strategic Market & Competitive Intelligence Analyst What You Will Be Doing As the Positioning-to-Win Analyst Sr. Staff for our Competitive Intelligence team at LM Aero, you will lead the development of pricing and non-pricing strategies to win competitive opportunities. Your work will analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to support business development and proposal success. Key Responsibilities Analyze customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, and technical/business strategies. Develop detailed pricing estimates and non-pricing strategies for competitive opportunities. Present concise analysis and recommendations to capture teams and senior leadership. Facilitate Black Hat reviews and support Customer Value Proposition Workshops and other proposal team reviews as needed. Provide thought leadership and mentorship to less experienced analysts. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Must have ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Only US Citizens may be considered. Basic Qualifications Strong communication, analytical, and leadership experience. Prior experience with Position-to-Win, Price-to-Win, or cost estimating in the defense industry. Prior experience performing or utilizing competitive intelligence and analysis. Experience with financial strategies. Experience researching and using analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Desired Skills Lockheed Martin Aero Business Area Acumen. Defense Industry Knowledge and expertise. Defense Industry cost estimating experience. Pre-proposal color review facilitation and leadership. MBA or Master’s Degree in finance-related or technical discipline. Strategic thinking. Track record of successful performance. Extensive new business capture experience. Benefits and Compensation Annual base salary range in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding major metros): $122,900 - $216,660. In metropolitan areas: $141,300 - $244,835.
