Extremely rewarding opportunity with growth potential!Hourly wage based on experience- Experience preferred but will train the right person with a kind heart and strong desire to work with older adults.PRIMARY PURPOSETo assist the Wellness Director with maintaining Resident Medication and Medical Recordsaccording to policy and State Regulations. To assist Executive Director with AdministrativeDuties.RESPONSIBILITIESWELLNESS:1. Assist Wellness Director with checking in new cycles of medications every 14days2. Maintain Med Carts (PRN's, Creams) every 2 weeks3. Daily check of Medication reorder sheet4. Ordering Oxygen & Oxygen supplies5. Weekly MAR Audits (missing initials, signature) and communicate to WellnessDirector6. Executing Medication Changes for Residents from Dr.'s appointmentsa) Fax order to Pharmacyb) Make copy of order and give to Wellness Directorc) Check new order and write change in MAR when delivered7. Send copy of MAR & Medical Appointment form with resident when going to Dr.appointment8. Must be in good standing with the CNA/CMA registryADMINISTRATIVE:1. Assist at Front Desk greeting guests/residents, vendors & deliveries2. Assist answering Phone Calls3. Conducting Orientation for New Hires4. Maintaining Continuing Education Unit (CEU'S) Records & scheduling CEUclasses 1X monthly5. Track CPR/First Aid Certification6. Assist E.D. with auditing Employee Files7. Care Staff Scheduling and any shift changes8. Replenishing Copies of Forms (Shower/Laundry/Pager Logs)9. Take On-Call 1 weekend per month10. Assist with Tours when neededQUALIFICATIONS1. Must be at least 18 years of age2. Must have received High School Diploma3. Must have a satisfactory criminal record check4. Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician5. Must have a Negative Drug Screen6. Must have C.P.R. & First Aid Certification7. Must dress in Professional attire8. Must be able to communicate effectively to convey information to residents,families, supervisor, Wellness Director and Executive Director9. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. As well as complete tasks which involve walking,standing reaching, pushing, and grasping10. Must understand risk of exposure to infectious waste, disease, chemicals,solutions, and disinfectants11.
