The Role

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to insurance carriers across a broad range of coverage disputes, helping clients navigate complex policy interpretation, exposure analysis, litigation strategy, and risk management issues.

This is a highly autonomous role where you'll lead matters from initial coverage assessment through litigation and resolution while developing long-term client relationships.

Your Responsibilities

• Advise carriers on sophisticated third-party coverage issues
• Handle declaratory judgment actions and bad-faith litigation
• Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, and strategic analyses
• Lead depositions of fact and expert witnesses
• Participate in arbitrations, hearings, and trials
• Develop litigation and coverage strategies for complex matters
• Maintain strong relationships with carrier clients and claims professionals
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions and practice groups
• Manage high-level litigation matters efficiently and profitably

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of insurance coverage experience
• Significant third-party coverage expertise
• Strong knowledge of declaratory judgment and bad-faith litigation
• Excellent advocacy and drafting abilities
• Proven client relationship management skills
• Active bar admission in a state where the firm maintains an office
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated coverage matters

Compensation & Platform

• $180,000-$200,000 base salary
