Details Hospital-based Med/Surg unit position Night shift (NOC) schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week No on-call responsibilities 15-week assignment length Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand Current BLS certification required Current NIHSS certification required Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg experience required Previous permanent staff experience preferred Travel nursing experience preferred Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg unit setting Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; 18 months required if returning to the same facility RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment Multiple RTO days requested close together during holiday periods will not be approved and must be spread out First-time travelers may be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-724858.
