FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE - Full-Time or Part-Time Summary of Position: Provide extraordinary hospitality to all guests and visitors through efficient and timely reservations, check-ins/check-outs, as well as proactive handling of guest needs. Responsibilities: Efficiently and professionally handle guest reservations and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible, in a manner consistent with the company’s rate structure and policies. Register and assign rooms to guests, issue room keys, and keep accurate online records of assigned rooms. Follow check-out processes, ensuring that guest wait times are minimal and that statements are accurate. Collect payment from departing guests and provide receipts. As needed, respond to inquiries regarding future reservations for rooms and assist guests with dining and special event reservations. Act as telephone operator, answering calls, and responding to caller needs or routing them to the appropriate person or department. Respond calmly and professionally to all guest complaints, resolving issues as appropriate and escalating to management when necessary. Keep front and back-office areas organized and clean. Communicate with emergency responders, when necessary, in a calm and effective manner. Assist other team members by sharing knowledge of the park and surrounding area. Understand the company’s ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas. Other duties as assigned.
