Your Role

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, order diagnostics, and develop personalized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in association with physicians or independently, as credentialing allows
• Guide patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and management of health issues
• Prescribe medications and therapies in line with your scope of practice

Prerequisites for Success

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
