Position Title Audiologist - IRP (Intermittent) – 1 year with option to renew Overview The Department of Speech and Hearing Science seeks an Audiologist to join our team. The Audiologist will measure and evaluate patients’ hearing ability through specialized testing and screening, assess for amplification, supervise and teach students, train and evaluate clinical technique, and assist patients and families in understanding diagnosis and corrective measures. Responsibilities Measure and evaluate patients’ hearing ability using specialized testing and screening procedures. Evaluate patients for use of amplification. Supervise and teach students in the audiologist practicum. Train and evaluate clinical technique. Assist patients and family members in understanding diagnosis and corrective measures. Assist with follow‑up services needed for patients. Qualifications Doctorate Degree of Audiology (Au.D.) or Ph.D. required. Licensure by the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology required. 0 years of relevant experience required. Location and Schedule Location: Pressey Hall (0309) Position type: Intermittent Scheduled hours: 0.2 Shift: First Shift Background Check Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
