We are hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment and care for patients with breathing disorders. The role requires clinical proficiency with ventilators, neonatal and adult respiratory support, and documentation in the facility electronic medical record.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state respiratory care license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
• NICU experience required. Experience with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilators required.
• BLS required. ACLS and NRP preferred; employer may allow obtaining after hire.
• Experience using Meditech or similar documentation systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital experience in a 140-bed or similar acute care setting.
• Familiarity with Hamilton MR1 and V60 ventilators.
• Experience working with adult and neonatal patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0700.
• Scheduling requirements: three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
• Dress code: all black scrubs.
