Radiologic Technologist up to $5k in Tuition Reimbursement!

Overview Up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement. Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine X‑ray examinations under direct supervision. Supports other areas of the facility, ensuring quality clinical care and excellent patient experience. Responsibilities Radiologic Technologist Duties Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort to dressing and x‑ray rooms, provide instructions, assist in positioning. Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, set exposure times, and follow established requirements. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices. Ensure equipment remains in working order and report malfunctions. Follow workflows and cross‑reference reports to EMR. Document patient x‑ray visits and maintain quality assurance procedures. Maintain equipment calibration, QA/QC, and record‑keeping per policy. Medical Assistant Duties Perform DOT and non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing. Prepare patients for physical examinations and ancillary testing (vital signs, vaccines, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiogram, respirator fit). Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose). Assist providers during examinations and treatments. Perform routine medical procedures per clinician order and triage emergent patients. Assist clinician with procedure setup and injury care. Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered. Dispense medications and DME per regulations. Complete QA activities on equipment and medical devices. Maintain supplies, clean rooms, and stock exam rooms. Operate all medical devices, including calibration and record‑keeping. Notify supervisor of equipment, supplies, or operational issues. Assist with patient flow and volume. Inform patients of expected wait times. Perform clerical tasks in front and back office for record keeping. Ensure documentation accuracy. Perform front‑office duties: greet, obtain authorization, check‑in/out, telephone, distribute paperwork. Follow HIPAA guidelines. Attend staff meetings or huddles as required. Maintain neat, clean facility appearance. Complete training, including monthly competency training. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and state certification. Registered with ARRT with active certification. CPR/First Aid certification. Job‑Related Experience At least six months of medical assistant experience. Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred; experience in medical office, healthcare or customer service.
