Senior Product Manager

Define the strategic vision and roadmap for cutting edge Operations Technology, Automation and AI product families in alignment with business goals, priorities and pain points. Work with business, functional and technology stakeholders to design and build solutions in a hands‑on Lean product delivery environment throughout the entire product lifecycle. Successful execution with pace is required to meet the business objectives. Lead the ideation, development, execution and operationalization of Automation solutions leveraging new IIoT and AI technologies and use cases that solve the most critical business problems. Work closely with strategic business and technical partners to select the right tools, software and hardware and enable delivery in the most efficient and cost effective way. Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept to launch, collaborating closely with other product managers, product owners, and deployment leaders to prioritize features, set timelines, and ensure value realization and integration of the solutions into the GSC Mfg ecosystem. Leverage deep understanding of the technology stack and the impact of technology, architecture and integrations on the scalability and effectiveness of the product. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to define and manage end state technical architecture, based on the building blocks of the Modern Industrial Data Architecture and ensuring a seamless integration of the IoT solutions within the enterprise ecosystem. Be an expert and advocate of the data platform and the data product strategy; define data products for selected use‑cases and lead the integration in upstream and downstream processes and tools. Mentor junior team members; provide business problem centric leadership to internal and partner team members. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Significant number of years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product Significant operations and cross‑functional supply chain experience GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed Business Acumen: Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems Strong analytical and strong problem‑solving skills—communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information and data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans Understanding of operations and the typical problems faced in manufacturing (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) Knowledge of Operations Technology, sensoring, robotics, the Modern Industrial Data Architecture concept, IIoT frameworks, Microservices Design Patterns and AWS IoT managed services Basic knowledge of Lean principles, and experience in agile principles and methods. PMP, ScrumMaster, SAFe or other relevant Project Management or Agile certifications Leadership: Directly influences internal digital, functional and external partners to work towards a common vision. Pre‑emptively sees downstream consequences and effectively tailors influencing strategy to support a positive outcome. Able to independently make decisions and verbalize the background and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting on success and failures to improve performance and decision‑making. Understands when change is needed. Able to effectively direct and mentor others in critical thinking skills.
