Drone Ground Support Services

job summary:
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Drone Ground and Field Support Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and taking down delivery drones, performing safety checks, and ensuring smooth flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols.

responsibilities:

• Manage daily activity of Personnel who perform Tier 1 within a single team to meet operating requirements
• Perform aircraft inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities
• Perform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in Client UAS Maintenance Manual)
• Perform nest equipment inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities
• Replace drone equipment as required
• Participate in Crew Briefs
• Maintain communications with the client Pilot-in-Command
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the nest equipment and aircraft
• Provide quality and safety assurance of Tier 1 Team activities at facilities
• Identify and report Tier 1 team performance deficiencies to management
• Identify nest equipment deficiencies to management
• Identify and report crew equipment deficiencies to management
• Provide Tier 1 team availability and performance information to management

qualifications:
- Must have valid drivers license and current auto insurance

- Must pass BGV and MVR

- Must have Part 107 Certification/License

Physical Requirements:

- Lift from ground level and carry up to 35 lbs and carry multiple items at the same time

- Crouch down and pick up or place objects from/to the ground weighing up to twenty (20) pounds

- Push or pull a wheeled cart on level ground weighing up to two hundred (200) pounds

- Be on feet constantly walking (10k+ steps per day)

- Work outside in various weather conditions (light rain, wind, temperatures ranging from 23F to 110F)

- Maintain mental and visual alertness"
