Senior Human Resources Manager

Location: 1 Dixon Square, Chestertown, MD 21620 Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Pay Range: $80,000-$120,000 Senior Human Resource Manager Join The Dixon Group to lead people strategy and align HR with business goals. What You’ll Do Participate in cross‑functional rotation, gaining deep understanding across HR functions. Manage and execute HR initiatives that support organizational goals. Develop and drive recruitment and hiring strategies to attract top talent. Serve as trusted advocate for employees, managing interpersonal relationships across all levels. Oversee employee benefits administration and leave requests. Support performance evaluation processes to foster growth and accountability. Manage HR systems, metrics, and reporting for accurate data and actionable insights. Ensure HR operations comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Promote core values in all daily HR practices and interactions. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years of HR experience with comprehensive knowledge of HR principles. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations; multi‑state experience preferred. Positive outlook and people‑oriented, results‑driven attitude. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Experience with HR systems (UKG preferred) and metrics/reporting. Excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Competence in building and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels.
