This position involves providing direct patient care in a high acuity IMC setting within a 20-bed unit. The RN will monitor critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment, administer medications, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols to promote patient safety and recovery. Job Details Position Description: Provide direct nursing care according to established policies and protocols, monitor critically ill patients with advanced medical equipment, administer medications, fluids, and treatments per physician orders, recognize and respond to patient condition changes and emergencies, document patient status, treatments, and interventions, collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans, provide emotional support and education to patients and families, follow infection control protocols, participate in continuing education, and be willing to precept. Certifications: Registered Nurse (Compact), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CRRT experience. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and current drivers license or state ID. Preferred Qualifications: CRRT experience. Additional Information: The role is part of a supportive team environment in a high acuity IMC unit, caring for adult patients in Baltimore City.
