Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 42
• Number of Staff: 70
• Type of staff: Day Shift 1 charge, 10-15 RNs, 1 PCT per shift
• Night Shift 1 charge, 10-15 RNs, 1 PCT per shift
• Patient Ratios level 3: 1-3 per nurse depending on acuity, level 2: 3-4 per nurse
• Type of equipment: isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, computers
• EMR: meditech and CPN

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Skill Set: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• NRP Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Experience with central lines UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC, etc.
• List typical procedures performed on unit(s): IV starts PICC insertions (trained clinicians)

Best Personality Fit: Team player, self motivator

Required Certifications: RN licensure, NRP, STABLE preferred

Floating Area(s): Newborn nursery

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue scrubs

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Will have resource on unit Weekends and On call(if any): 4 weekend shifts per schedule minimum, on call occasionally
