Manufacturing Technician 1

Sirius Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing operations in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining manufacturing equipment and laboratory spaces used in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) production while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Position: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician Location: Madison, WI Pay Rate: $28.00/hour Openings: 2 Physical Required: Yes Key Responsibilities Follow and promote all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and GMP guidelines. Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment, laboratory areas, and production spaces. Perform equipment cleaning verification and support GMP manufacturing activities. Operate production equipment during cleaning and maintenance activities. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization in laboratory and production areas. Document activities accurately and communicate shift updates through established systems. Identify and report equipment, process, quality, and safety issues. Participate in safety inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support production operations and perform additional duties as assigned. Work effectively in a team-based, multi-shift manufacturing environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience in: Chemical manufacturing, OR Pharmaceutical manufacturing, OR Analytical laboratory environment. Experience working in GMP-regulated environments preferred. Ability to read and follow written procedures, SOPs, and protocols. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Email, etc.). Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods while wearing full PPE. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Comfortable working with hazardous chemicals and highly potent materials. Ability to wear respiratory protection, lab coats, and full-body protective equipment. Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and in regulated manufacturing environments. Regulatory & Safety Requirements Follow GMP requirements under 21 CFR Parts 210, 211, and 820, as applicable. Adhere to OSHA, EPA, DOT, DNR, and company safety standards. Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Demonstrate safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials. Preferred Background Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, laboratory operations, API manufacturing, equipment cleaning, GMP production support, or regulated manufacturing environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
