Litigation Paralegal

Pierce Coleman, PLLC, a boutique employment and municipal law firm located in north Scottsdale is adding a Paralegal position to their team (on-site). To be considered, the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of legal experience, particularly in civil litigation. If you are an experienced, self-motivated individual who is a team player, then we want you! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Calendar and Docket Management. Prepare and file case documents, including pleadings, discovery and disclosure statements in state and federal courts, and correspondence. Organize, manage and prepare documents and other evidence for discovery, depositions, motions, briefs and trial. Assisting attorneys with civil litigation and misdemeanor criminal cases. QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years of civil litigation experience. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA Accredited Paralegal Program. Ability to work independently and to multitask while demonstrating strong attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Westlaw and other Internet database platforms. Familiar with Federal and Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure, ECR, Pacer and Turbo Court. Strong communication and time management skills and believe in being a team player.
