Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Variable Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting within an acute care environment
• Perform assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring of obstetric patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units or affiliate locations as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Participate in on-call rotations on weekends and work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations not accepted)
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Valid driver's license and proof of personal vehicle insurance with rental car coverage required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience charting in Epic electronic health records
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or Level IV Trauma facility
• Comfort working in a remote or rural healthcare setting
