Junior.NET Application DeveloperPosition Overview: We are looking for a Junior.NET Application Developer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of our enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who has a strong academic foundation in computer science and is eager to grow their skills in real-world, production-level software development. You will work alongside experienced developers to learn our application architecture, contribute to new features, and help ensure system reliability.Location: Onsite in Lynchburg, VA in our secured facility. We can provide relocation benefits to the right candidate!Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing and maintaining features within large.NET applicationsWork with VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET Core /.NET 6+, or.NET FrameworkWrite and maintain basic SQL queries and stored proceduresParticipate in troubleshooting and resolving software issues with support from senior team membersHelp prepare and update technical documentationCollaborate with the development team to understand requirements, existing logic, and best practicesTake part in code reviews to learn and apply feedbackSupport continual improvement initiatives within the teamRequired Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldAcademic experience or internship exposure to.NET development (VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET Core, or.NET Framework)Basic understanding of SQL (writing queries, joins)Solid foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming conceptsFamiliarity with layered architecture and separation of concerns from coursework or projectsEagerness to learn new technologies and work within large, established codebasesAbility to work collaboratively, or individually, follow directions, and ask clarifying questions as neededMust be a U.S. citizen.
