Staff Accountant

Location: Crystal Lake, IL Type: Full-Time Compensation: Commensurate with experience Summary: The Staff Accountant delivers accounting and financial reporting services, prepares individual, fiduciary, and business tax returns, and supports client relationships and firm growth. RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES
Implement client engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects) Prepare tax returns and make recommendations regarding tax savings opportunities Provide bookkeeping & financial statement services for businesses in a variety of industries Proactively interact with clients to gather information, resolve accounting & tax-related issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvementsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines Dedication to extraordinary client service Strong organizational skills and attention to detailEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
