Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:
- Oversee and manage a team of highly motivated staff accountants and tax accountants
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base
- Oversee complex tax projects across a variety of clients and industries
- Build and maintain professional relationships to help grow the firm's network and client base
- Provide timely and thorough evaluations and mentoring for staff accountants
- Serve as a hands-on leader and trusted advisor
Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Master's Degree in Taxation (highly desirable)
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of proven public accounting experience in a tax supervisory role
- Strong ability to utilize technology to enhance client service
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
