Quality Coordinator

Quality CoordinatorThe Quality Coordinator supports quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process by inspecting incoming materials, monitoring in-process production, and verifying finished products before shipment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, dependable individual who takes pride in doing the job right, maintains accurate records, and has the confidence to identify and communicate quality concerns in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.Use calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and specifications.Document inspection results, measurements, and nonconformances accurately.Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming materials.Communicate quality issues to production, engineering, and site leadership.Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.Support internal audits and ISO 9001/ISO 14001 compliance.Maintain organized, audit-ready quality records.Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental policies.QualificationsAssociate degree in Quality, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.1-3 years of experience in quality, inspection, or manufacturing preferred.Experience in a custom or high-mix manufacturing environment is a plus.Familiarity with basic measurement and inspection tools.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate quality concerns when necessary.Fluent in English, written and verbal.Preferred ExperienceISO 9001 or ISO 14001.Root cause analysis, 5-Why, or CAPA.ERP or quality management software.Packaging, woodworking, plastics, or multi-material manufacturing.Lean or Six Sigma principles.Physical RequirementsThis position is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, grip, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions.
