At ATC, we’re looking for a Lead Construction Program Manager – Large Load Interconnection Projects to own and deliver some of our most strategic, high‑impact programs—connecting large customers, advancing new technologies, and strengthening the reliability of the electric transmission system. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale interconnection programs Develop and execute program strategies aligned to transmission objectives Manage program budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics Build relationships with internal teams, customers, and contractors Lead negotiation of project and supply agreements Guide projects through regulatory and permitting processes Lead cross-functional teams and drive program execution WHAT YOU BRING 10+ years of experience in construction, project, or program management Proven success leading capital programs ($100M+) Experience in utilities, energy, or infrastructure environments Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Strong financial, analytical, and program management skills Experience with Primavera P6 or similar tools WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Successfully deliver large interconnection programs end-to-end Maintain strong control of budgets, schedules, and risk Align stakeholders and teams across complex environments Communicate effectively with executive leadership Resolve issues quickly while keeping programs on track WHY ATC Work that directly impacts communities and critical infrastructure. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The targeted base pay for this position is $171,600 to $200,200 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more. *The pay range is a general guideline.
