Formation Associate - Fort Wayne
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Formation Associate to work with a leading manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers long-term career growth for candidates who demonstrate strong attendance, productivity, quality, and safety performance.
Shift Patterns
Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM
Ability to work overtime as needed and every other weekend
Pay Rates
22.27 USD hourly
Must-have Requirements for Formation Associate
Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
Basic computer skills for entering production data
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat and noise
Role for Formation Associate
Operate machinery to fill batteries with acid and perform process checks
Inspect batteries for physical defects and install in-process and final caps
Manage production flow by sliding batteries onto conveyor systems and removing jumper cables
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
Enter production information into computer systems and verify charging specifications
