Customer Contact Specialist (Remote)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Remote – local candidates preferred)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing Temporary (Potential Temp-to-Hire)

About the Role
We are hiring Customer Contact Specialists to support a high-volume contact center assisting healthcare professionals across Florida. This role focuses on handling licensing, certification, and regulatory inquiries while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls related to healthcare licensing and certification inquiries
Guide applicants and licensees through application processes and requirements
Research records and resolve complex customer questions using internal systems
Document interactions and update customer records accurately
Assist with documentation, fingerprinting instructions, and compliance requirements
Maintain professionalism while handling high call volumes

Qualifications

2+ years of customer service experience required
Call center experience preferred (healthcare or insurance a plus)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working across multiple systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Stable work history preferred

Schedule & Training

Call Center Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift Options:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Training: 3–4 weeks (camera required during virtual sessions)

Work Setup

Primarily remote (equipment provided)
Candidates should be local to Tallahassee for training and potential long-term opportunities

Additional Requirements

Level 2 background check required
Fingerprinting required prior to start
Ability to sit for extended periods
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
