Job Description:

Receiving Clerk / Data Entry Clerk – Shipping & Receiving

Position Overview

1. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk / Data Entry Clerk to join our shipping and receiving team. This position is responsible for processing incoming shipments, entering inventory into the system accurately, coordinating with warehouse and office staff, and helping maintain organized inventory records. Daily performance of cycle counts, with any system needed corrections. Candidates must have strong computer skills and prior experience with warehouse management systems.

Schedule

1. Monday–Friday
2. 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
3. Overtime available as needed

Pay

1. Starting at $19.00/hour
2. Excellent benefits and annual bonuses once hired on

Responsibilities

1. Process incoming shipments and receiving documentation
2. Enter inventory and shipment information into company systems
3. Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
4. Work closely with warehouse and office staff
5. Daily Cycle Counts on warehouse locations
6. Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
7. Perform general administrative and data entry duties
8. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation

Requirements

1. Experience in shipping and receiving required
2. Prior 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) system experience required
3. SAP experience strongly preferred
4. Strong computer and data entry skills required
5. Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general Microsoft Office programs
6. Warehouse management experience is a plus
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
8. Ability to work independently and efficiently
9. Must be able to read and write clearly
10. Forklift Experience

Work Environment

1. Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
2. Fans provided throughout facility

Dress Code

1. Steel toe boots required
2. Jeans or khaki pants required
3. Plain T-shirt required

Screening Requirements

1. 10-panel drug screen
2. 7-year background check
3. No felonies
4. No theft-related offenses
