Lead Analyst Contract Management

Overview This Lead Analyst, Contract Management role supports the Contract Management team at DePuy Synthes Orthopedics and is based in Raritan, NJ; Warsaw, IN; Raynham, MA; and West Chester, PA. The position works with customer‑facing teams to develop offering documents, pricing strategies, and terms & conditions for customers, while ensuring compliance and efficient contract administration. Key Responsibilities Partner with Account Management and Offer Development to proactively support contracting needs for top customer segment. Direct and manage commercial contract terms and conditions negotiation. Prioritize and manage workload queue; draft, review, and negotiate terms and conditions. Facilitate internal contract approval and stakeholder negotiation to resolve complex issues and assist in disputes. Maintain positive business partnering relationships with Legal, Offer Development, Health Care Compliance, and Field Sales. Support design and implementation of systems, processes, and controls to track and manage the contracting process for efficiency and compliance. Provide mentorship and training to Contract Management team members and business partners on contractual requirements and compliance. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions; monitor adherence. Respond to internal and external audit requests. Generate contract price files, IDN roster maintenance, member‑add letters, and draft amendments. Implement price changes resulting from contract maintenance activity and adjust non‑compliant accounts. Coordinate the contract implementation workflow, identify gaps, recommend solutions, and share guidelines. Review and redline contract terms and conditions in coordination with Legal, Offer Development, Finance, and Field Sales. Required Qualifications BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Sales & Marketing (preferred). Minimum 4 years of experience in Contracting & Pricing or related business experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or legal field. Strong interpersonal and time‑management skills; ability to lead in a sophisticated, deadline‑driven environment. Capability to draft complex contract terms and conditions, detail orientation, review contracts for policy conformity, and assess risks. Proficiency in MSWord, including track changes and document compare. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a matrix commercial organization with field sales teams, contracting, and financial profitability. Deep experience with Orthopaedic contracting systems and support tools. Knowledge of Orthopedics products, business strategies, and pricing mechanisms. Strong leadership, ability to influence all levels of the organization, and drive to meet or exceed expectations. Excellent communication skills, including giving presentations to executive leadership. Pay Base salary range: $94,000.00 – $151,800.00. Eligible for company consolidated retirement plan (401(k)) and long‑term incentive program. Benefits Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year; 48 hours for Colorado residents; 56 hours for Washington residents. Holiday pay (including floating holidays): 13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time: up to 40 hours per calendar year Parental Leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care.
