In this role, you will engage with clients experiencing diverse mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments that detail the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients. \n
- Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that incorporate their specific needs, goals, and personal preferences, ensuring engagement and motivation in the therapeutic process. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment for mood disorders. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, addressing treatment options, coping strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance overall mental health. \n
- Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and feedback to ensure optimal outcomes. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, enhancing the overall treatment experience. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to ensure the delivery of current best practices. \n
- Maintain rigorous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical requirements to protect patient privacy and safety. \n
- Participate in professional development and case consultation opportunities, promoting personal and team growth within the department. \n
- Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness throughout the community. \n
The primary focus of this position is on individuals experiencing mood disorders which vary widely. Our clientele includes adults of all backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges that require tailored, empathetic approaches. Your role involves creating a trusting therapeutic alliance and employing appropriate interventions that respond to the specific dynamics of each client's situation.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within California. \n
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge in psychopharmacology, facilitating collaborative treatment planning with prescribing professionals. \n
- Effective communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients. \n

- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is highly preferred. \n
- Track record of achieving successful outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders, demonstrating effectiveness in therapy. \n
Sevita Therapeutic Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
