Job Summary

The Treasury Analyst I is responsible for executing day-to-day Treasury operations, including cash management, banking administration, Treasury Management System (Kyriba) maintenance, and compliance activities, while supporting liquidity planning, risk mitigation, and strategic Treasury initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processes and monitors daily cash activity (wires/transfers/etc.), both for corporate bank accounts and 200+ servicing accounts. Supports Treasury teammate's daily tracking and stays abreast of company activities to forecast cash needs. Works with third party departments to support cash forecasting efforts.
• Reviews bank account administration, analyzes bank fees, evaluates new banking products and services, and supports process related to letters of credit.
• Maintains and updates the Treasury Management System (Kyriba).
• Assists with the company's corporate credit card program, monitors activity, and communicates potential suspicious activity with management.
• Validates third party wire instructions for loan purchasing activity.
• Maintains company's escheatment process, track outstanding aged payables, etc.
• Research cash transactions, supporting relative Business Unit's needs.
• Monitors fixed asset acquisitions and finances on the equipment line of credit with the bank
• Assists Treasurer and VP of Treasury with special projects
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance (or comparable work experience).

Experience

• Minimum two years of experience in treasury or finance activities.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.

Functional/Technical Skills

• Thorough knowledge and experience with cash management
• Experience with a Treasury Management System preferred, particularly Kyriba
• Attention to detail, while maintaining ability to multi-task
• Experience with Microsoft Office-all applications
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work and communicate with other departments and management
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
