What You'll Do

• Develop strategic color direction and construct thoughtful, market-relevant color palettes that captivate global audiences.
• Apply color across diverse apparel products, ensuring seasonal concepts are brought to life with precision and flair.
• Craft compelling color stories and visual narratives that communicate the essence and innovation behind each collection.
• Design and produce impactful mood boards and presentation materials to articulate creative concepts to stakeholders.
• Confidently present color concepts, articulating the strategic thinking and inspiration behind your work to diverse teams.
• Collaborate seamlessly with designers and cross-functional partners within a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
• Maintain a vigilant pulse on fashion, consumer behavior, cultural shifts, and marketplace trends to inform future color strategies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience specifically in apparel color design.
• Demonstrated strong expertise in color strategy, comprehensive palette development, and precise color application.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your ability in color storytelling, mood board creation, and a diverse range of apparel experiences.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in design, fashion, textiles, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience designing color for outdoor, streetwear, performance, activewear, or technical apparel.
• A proven track record of balancing fashionable aesthetics with functional and utilitarian product needs.
• Background working with a major global or Fortune 500 brand, demonstrating experience within large-scale operations.
• Experience in entrepreneurial or startup-like environments, showcasing adaptability and initiative.
• A strong understanding of broader fashion, color, and marketplace trends.
