Here’s What Your Day‑to‑Day Could Include Configure, test, characterize, and optimize networking components for HPC systems in a Linux environment Use Bash and Python to automate manual processes and improve repeatability Support containerized services across Docker, Podman, and containerd environments Help strengthen CI/CD workflows and source‑controlled development practices Work with engineering teammates to improve platform performance, reliability, and maintainability Support testing and troubleshooting efforts across mission‑focused HPC environments Minimum Qualifications Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Required Skills Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes Recent software development experience using Python Understanding of basic parallel programming concepts Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd Familiarity with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins Experience with Git source control system Desired Skills Familiarity with observability and analytics platform solutions such as Splunk Familiarity with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework, SAFe, methodologies Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including JIRA and Confluence Compensation Range: $142,000.00 - $182,000.00 The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
