Position Highlights

Specialty: Hospitalist Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

We welcome experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Providers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current New York State licensure or eligibility for licensure
• National certification as an NP or PA
• Hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, or inpatient experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently overnight while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

Opportunity Details

• Full-time Hospitalist APP position providing comprehensive inpatient care
• Perform admissions, patient evaluations, daily rounding, and discharge planning
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in collaboration with physician colleagues
• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing teams, case management, rehabilitation services, and ancillary departments
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Opportunity to develop strong relationships with patients and families while providing continuity of care during hospitalization
