About the Job

We are currently seeking a Toxicologist for our Toxicology, Health, and Economic Services business area. The ideal candidate will be a highly detail-oriented individual who can provide technical support on client projects for our growing Health Sciences practice. Most assignments will require teamwork, though a few will be entirely your responsibility.

This position may offer in-office, remote, or hybrid opportunities based on the candidate's location and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Toxicologist, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:

• Performing exposure and toxicity assessments for chemicals and quantitatively evaluating human health risks.
• Conducting safety assessments of products and raw materials.
• Critically reviewing and analyzing scientific studies, rating their reliability and selecting key and supporting studies in a weight of evidence approach.
• Execution of technical work and client deliverables.

Requirements

Qualifications

Candidates should hold an advanced degree in toxicology or pharmacology, or similar field.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A master's or doctoral degree in toxicology or pharmacology or public health with a toxicology focus
• 1+ years of experience in human health risk assessment and toxicology
• Experience working in risk assessment project teams
• Demonstrated proficiency in general toxicology, human physiology, biology, and other relevant disciplines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers

Compensation is commensurate with experience and internal equity, within the listed range. An employee's total compensation package includes annual salary; company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) participation with a company match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation; company-paid life and short- and long-term disability insurance; paid sick leave (10 days), paid vacation (12-15 days; determined by title at hire), and paid holidays (9 days) per year; and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
