Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients, including detailed histories, functional assessments, and appropriate documentation necessary for effective treatment planning.
• Engage with patients and their families to discuss evaluation results and collaboratively develop goal-oriented treatment strategies that align with their individual needs.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring they are tailored to patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, noting any changes in patient conditions, and adjusting treatment protocols accordingly.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure a seamless transition out of care while providing essential follow-up services and maintaining meticulous patient records.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet productivity standards and participate actively in clinic marketing initiatives when needed.
• Contribute to achieving departmental goals, adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements essential for quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of patients, from post-operative orthopedic cases to those suffering from chronic pain and traumatic injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent; completion of an accredited physical therapy program is required.

Compensation and Benefits
