Parts Sales Representative (Jenison)

Role Description The Parts Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Jenison, MI. This position is responsible for assisting customers in person and by phone/web/text/etc: identifying correct parts, providing accurate pricing, and ensuring orders are processed promptly. Daily tasks include using inventory systems to check stock availability, communicating with customers and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge on recycled original equipment. The role also involves resolving customer inquiries, handling returns or exchanges, and following up on orders to support a positive customer experience. The Parts Sales Representative contributes to sales goals by recommending suitable parts and services while maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.

Qualifications

• Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support positive interactions and repeat business.
• Sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate parts, and close orders effectively.
• Strong Communication skills for clear, professional interaction with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Basic automotive knowledge or experience in auto parts sales is required.
• Ability to use point-of-sale and inventory management systems; comfort with basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Prior experience in automotive or parts sales is preferred.
