Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 1-2 years of experience and neonatal/pediatric background for a 13-week travel assignment at a regional health center.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department within a 75-bed regional health center
• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and possible micro-premies to hospice care
• Uses Vocsn ventilators and V60 bipaps
• Day/evening shift from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• 1-2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Some neonatal and pediatric experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• IA state license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across a broad patient population ranging from micro-premies to hospice patients
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates who have worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
