Tooling Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY To clean, maintain and prepare the extrusion tooling to the required standard for production. PRIMARY DUTIES 1. Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures 2. Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly 3. Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed 4. Disassemble purged-in dies 5. Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed 6. Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor 7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment 8. Operate Reach truck as needed SECONDARY DUTIES 1. Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel. 2. All other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Mechanical Aptitude, Oral Communication, and Accuracy. Safety and Quality oriented.
