Inspector / Lab Support

SUMMARY :
Performs final visual and dimensional inspection of completed parts. Reads and interprets specifications, and uses that information to prepare lab samples, coating evaluations and develop a lab report containing results of lab tests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Use various tools and gauges to verify coating thickness on samples to meet specifications.
• Performs visual inspection of products for defects, cracks, and chips in product.
• Reads, understands and uses specifications to prepare, test and evaluate lab samples.
• Documents results of inspections and ensure records are retained according to CTS procedures.
• Communicate lab results promptly with/to appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or GED
• Mathematical Skills - Add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
• Must be US Person pursuant to ITAR / EAR
• Ability to make accurate measurements using various gauges and tools.
