Data Specialist, Donation Operations Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday – Standard Business Hours Salary: Based on Experience Description A nonprofit organization is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Data Specialist, Donation Operations to join its finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate donation processing, maintaining donor records, and supporting data integrity across systems. What You’ll Do Donation Processing & Revenue Management Track and record daily donations from multiple platforms within set timeframes Assist with daily mail processing in collaboration with the finance team Monitor revenue from direct mail and telemarketing campaigns Support reconciliation of donation data across systems Data Management & Systems Accuracy Maintain accurate donor and donation records within Salesforce and financial systems Regularly review and update records to ensure data integrity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve tracking and reporting Donor Acknowledgement Prepare and send accurate and timely receipts and acknowledgement letters Projects & Process Improvement Execute Salesforce data management and cleanup projects Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Requirements Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in data entry, payment processing, or similar roles Strong computer literacy, including advanced Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through independently Preferred Qualifications Experience in a nonprofit environment Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite What We Offer Hybrid work environment Collaborative and mission-driven team Opportunity for growth within the nonprofit sector #J-18808-Ljbffr Sbhonline
