As we continue to expand, we're looking for dependable, detail-oriented team members to help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly.About the RoleThe Warehouse Receiver is responsible for processing all incoming materials into inventory accurately and efficiently. This role is critical to maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring product quality, and supporting our purchasing and quality departments.Essential ResponsibilitiesReceive delivery trucks at the dock (top priority)Inspect trucks and incoming materials for hazards or damage; complete all required documentationRe-stack and organize pallets, grouping like products togetherVerify product identification and weightCollaborate with Purchasing and Quality departments to ensure receiving accuracyEnter received product into inventory and quality databases (approx. 1 minute per ID)Scan and upload all receiving paperwork to the server dailyProperly label all materialsCommunicate receiving holds to the Purchasing department promptlyComplete all receiving tasks and submit receivers by end of shiftAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport librarian duties as neededAssist with cycle countingMaintain warehouse cleanliness (sweeping, stacking pallets, wiping down surfaces)Provide administrative support as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience High school diploma or GED, plus 3–6 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills & Competencies Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) Ability to apply common-sense judgment to carry out detailed instructions and resolve routine problems English proficiency requiredPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and use of hands for fine and gross motor tasksOccasional climbing or balancingAbility to converse and listen effectivelyAbility to lift/move up to 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and 20 lbs. constantlyVisual acuity requirements: near and far vision, depth perception, color vision, and field of visionDay Shift
