Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in New Brunswick, NJ where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of neonatal and pediatric patients with breathing disorders. The role includes providing ventilator management, noninvasive support, in-house transport, code response, and related respiratory procedures in critical care settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current New Jersey state respiratory license in good standing.
• NBRC credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1.5 years of clinical respiratory experience.
• Experience in NICU and/or PICU required.
• Experience with ventilators and noninvasive support inclusive of Servo I and Servo U, and V60 BiPAP.
• Experience performing blood gases, ventilator/BiPAP/high-flow initiation and management, code response, in-house transport, medication administration, and chest physiotherapy.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred. Travelers may obtain these onsite.
• Prior experience floating between pediatric and adult units preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3x12-hour nights, 19000730.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday).
• Floating: Will float between pediatric units and NICU; may float to adult units on the main campus.
