The clinic environment is designed to be efficient and supportive, with modern equipment, organized treatment spaces, and a collaborative team culture. As a PTA, you will work closely with Physical Therapists and support staff, contributing to a strong interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes evidence-based practice and measurable outcomes.Typical responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of a PT, progressing therapeutic exercises, providing manual therapy and modalities as appropriate, and reinforcing patient education and home exercise programs. You will manage a diverse outpatient caseload that may include orthopedic, post-operative, and sports-related conditions, allowing you to apply and refine a broad range of clinical skills. Documentation is completed through an electronic medical record system, and the clinic supports efficient workflows to help you focus on direct patient care.A typical day may involve a structured schedule of one-on-one or small-group treatment sessions, coordination with the PT on plan-of-care updates, timely documentation, and regular communication with patients and their families regarding progress and goals. Depending on clinic volume and scheduling, patient caseloads are designed to be manageable while still offering solid exposure to complex and varied cases. The schedule generally follows daytime hours, with potential for staggered start times to accommodate patient needs and clinic hours that may extend into early evenings.This role offers a strong foundation for PTAs seeking to grow their outpatient and orthopedic skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Physical Therapist Assistant, Outpatient References: 1 Reference in entire work history License and OP experience are required.
