Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2 years of PCU/stepdown experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required every third weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed within scope of practice

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/stepdown experience required
• Copy of Nursys report pulled within the last 7 days required for consideration
• Two professional references completed within the past two years by a supervisor required for consideration
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for consideration, with exemption requests submitted within 72 hours of acceptance using facility form

Additional Information

• Candidates will float within the hospital as needed
• Travel pairs will not be considered for PCU or CCU positions
• Returning staff must have been gone at least one year and remain in good standing, and must not be local, to be eligible to return
• First-time travelers may be considered with the right experience
• Local candidates will not be accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
