Speech-Language Pathologist, Inpatient Rehabilitation

ARMStaffing is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist, Inpatient Rehabilitation (Day Shift) in Alpena, Michigan.

Location: Alpena, MI

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: The work schedule for this position is from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with 20 to 24 working hours per week.

Job Description: Join the team at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena and experience the beauty of Northern Michigan. This role as a Speech-Language Pathologist will involve working primarily in Inpatient Rehabilitation settings, with expectations to float to acute care as needed. The facility boasts a collaborative environment and supports various rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluations and treatments for patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Assist in shaping patients' communication capabilities and swallowing functions.

Required Experience:

• Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred.
• Previous travel assignment experience in this setting is ideal.

Certifications/Licensure: MBSS experience required.
