Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience with EMR preferred, but not required Description: Strict travel radius limits apply. Experience is required in a medical surgical setting. The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:5, with potential for 1:6. Nurse aides are available on the unit. Shifts run from 7 PM to 7 AM. Every other weekend and holidays are required as needed. A general orientation, including EMR training, is conducted over one week. Floor-specific orientation will be provided for two additional days. The facility has 44 beds and approximately 40 staff members. The community has a population of 80,000. Nearby attractions include larger cities and beautiful beaches. Housing options have been vetted for safety and cleanliness. Cancellation policies apply for scheduled shifts. Charting is performed using a specific electronic medical record system.
